Although they do have some decent content, lets face it, the new Top Gear will never be the same ever since BBC let the awesome trio go. The show has spiraled down hill at a steady pace with the American version being recently discontinued and Chris Evans quitting the British version just after one season. Without the wits of Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond I personally don’t see Top Gear going too much longer unless they find ways of bringing back the dynamics of how the show used to be. I’m Just glad Netlix has most of the older seasons available to watch still because I’ll always be a Top Gear fan.
Now lets talk about this new series on YouTube called Bangin’ Gears from a guy named Alejandro Salomon. Better known as Salomondrin, himself and the Cupgang have access to some of the most expensive and baddest cars on the planet. The Cupgang is just a bunch of car enthusiasts that have come together and want to play with every badass car they can get their hands on. The meaning behind the name comes from the word “Cup” which stands for “Cars Unite People.” Salomondrin explains the show as “a show made by a group of car nuts who want to make every car guy’s wet dream a reality.” Now the show is a little more edgy than your typical Top Gear episode, but none the less it delivers some awesome content. It’s very informative and entertaining throughout each episode. Could this be better than Top Gear and become the most epic car show ever? We will let you decide!
