Sam Schmidt is an inspiration to everyone, proving that where there’s a will, there’s a way. Schmidt was once a Champion Indy racing driver, but that all came to a halt when he crashed his car at 210-miles per hour in 2001 and became a quadriplegic. That didn’t stop Schmidt from finding a way back in the seat of a racecar.
Almost 15 years later, with Schmidt’s determination, he had a custom 2016 Corvette Z06 built by Arrow Electronics that he is able to control with his breathing and head movements with the help of infrared cameras and a blow tube. Costing nearly 1 million dollars, the custom Z06 proves that anything is possible.
