Heffner Performance’s Twin Turbo Huracan has people Green with Envy

Established in 1998, Heffner Performance is a very well known name in the automotive industry. From the beginning, “Heffner has been a leading global provider of forced induction systems / twin turbo systems / supercharger systems, parts and accessories for some of the most exotic automobiles on the road today. They primarily provide services for Audi, Ford GT, Lamborghini, McLaren, Ferrari, Viper and many other platforms.  We truly appreciate helping our customers achieve their dreams of owning a world class modified exotic.” -The Heffner Performance Team.

Over the years, Heffner has been constantly pushing the limits and making breakthroughs with some of the most iconic cars. Marshall Williamson from FL Races told me “Heffner was the first to turbocharge a Ford GT and the Lamborghini Gallardo. He even had a supercharged Diablo in the 90s not to mention the boat load of boosted vipers he built over the years.”

Moving forward to the present, Heffner has been working on one making the new Lamborghini Huracan a pure rocket ship.  When speaking with Marshall he said “The Huracan platform has so much more potential than the Gallardo. The only challenge at this point is trying to continue progression with the build before certain parts are actually made for the car. As we develop upgraded components we will be able to keep pushing forward and have this Huracan in the 7s this year. Also the engine management by Syvecs is completely new so we are working closely with them to get the most out of the system.”

Recently their Twin Turbo Ob Prestige Auto Huracan set a new world record for the 1/4 mile.  At 1200whp, they ran a 9.12 and 9.15 when they broke the world record on stock wheels and r888s. They then put CCWs on the rear and MT ET Streets and and messed with the tune a little to keep the launch control from freaking out from lifting the front tires.  They ended up raising the bar even more by running a 8.97 at 165.47mph!  Now that’s hauling a$$!  As far as plans for the future, upping the boost and getting into the 7’s in the 1/4 mile is the next step. Below is a video from the world record pass!  Stay tuned for updates and part 2 of this story to run in STREET/RACE Magazine!
