We’re not sure about you, but this is the type of thing that those of us at STREET/RACE Magazine live for. While there may be something more exciting and exhilarating than a top speed pull in a nearly 2,000-horsepower street-driven Corvette, we can’t currently identify it, and no one here is sure that we even want to.
To the best of our knowledge, Randy Hunter’s Atomic Orange C6 Z06, which is manhandled by non other than Vengeance Racing’s own Ron Mowen in this video, is powered by a twin-turbocharged 457ci LS and has been over 200mph in the half-mile without nitrous in the past, but had consistent traction issues on the cold pavement at Jumbolair Airport in Florida.
Regardless, this is one hell of a high-energy ride along. More please.
