The Tesla Model S has been making quite the name for itself for being one of the fastest 4 door sedans on the market for quite some time. Well, it just got even faster with Telsa’s new “Ludicrous+” update.
Ludicrous+ was released earlier this month and it offers a slight upgrade to the already insanely fast acceleration of the P100D. The new update brings the 0-60 time into hypercar territory at a blistering 2.4 seconds.
The guys over at Dragtimes took their Tesla P100D to the track to see what this new update was capable of and the result was a mind-blowing 10.72-second run at 120.27 mph, officially the fastest quarter-mile ever set by a stock production four-door sedan. They beat the previous record and also surpassed the Nissan GT-R and Acura NSX.
