The 2016 Indy Airstrip Attack Presented by Ignite Racing Fuel and Speed Society is the first Shift S3ctor event to make its way to Indiana. Hosted at the Marion Municipal Airport, it’s the perfect runway for 1/2 mile racing due to it being 6,000ft long with plenty enough shutdown space. Cars ranged from 400hp to well over 2500hp and were able to reach speeds over 220mph in the 1/2 mile today.
Congrats to Lucas English on breaking the Evo 1/2 mile record twice today making a 203mph and then a 206mph pass in his Competition Clutch English Racing Evo X. Todd Wages made the fastest pass of the day at 228mph in his Dallas Performance Twin Turbo Lamborghini. Congrats to all other competitors that took 1st place in their classes.
Racing continues tomorrow for Day 2 of Shift S3ctor Indy Airstrip Attack!
