Boostin Performance is known for building some of the fastest imports on the planet, and they proved it this weekend. The Boostin Crew brought some of their top cars to Street Car Takeover and Import Face Off at Gateway Motorsports Park in St. Louis, and also to King of The Streets (KOTS) at Great Lakes Dragaway in Racine, Wisconsin. Boostin Performance had a great weekend taking home 4 first place and 2 second place trophies between the 3 events. Check out the winners and their cars below.
Owned and piloted by Devin and Kristin Schultz, the Boostin Performance shop GT-R (aka “Girlzilla”, named by Kristin) took home the win this past weekend in the King of the Bakery Roll Racing at Street Car Takeover St. Louis. Devin piloted “Girlzilla” to first place in the Boostin Performance Alpha 16 GT-R. Devin’s highest speed was a blistering 173mph and he straight dominated the competition.
Whats better than one first place finish, how about two! Jason Flescher, aka Mr. Boost, was awarded first place in the Stick Shift Class at Street Car Takeover and First place in the Forced Induction Pro Class at Import Face Off in his Boostin Performance Evo 8. Both events took place this past weekend at Gateway Motorsports Park just outside of St. Louis. Jason’s Evo 8 is powered by a Boostin Performance Red Demon Spec Short Block with a Boostin Stage 3 Cylinder Head and Sparktech Ignitions Sequential CDI Ignition System. It has a Precision 7675 Turbocharger with an ETS 5″ FMIC. It’s tuned on E85 by Devin using an AEM Performance Electronics Series 2 EMS. All of that power is run through a Boostin Built Dogbox with PPG Gears. His best ET with the car is 8.92 @ 168mph!
Along side Jason in the Stick Shift Finals, Anthony Vanderberg took home 2nd place at Street Car Takeover in his Boostin Performance built Evo 9. Anthony also attended Import Face Off the following day and battled his way to First Place in the Forced Induction Sport Class. Anthony’s Evo 9 has a Boostin Performance Stage 3 2.3L Short Block with a Speed Density Tune on E85. He ran his personal best ET this weekend with a 10.14 @141mph.
Moving up to Racine, Wisconson at Great Lakes Dragaway, Mirjan competed in the “Jr” Class at KOTS this past weekend in his Boostin Performance Evo 8. The “Jr” Class requires a full interior, all glass windows and radial tires, making it a real “Street Car” class. Mirjan’s Evo 8 cranks out over 1000+whp with the Boostin Peformance built 2.0L 4G63 motor and massive 76mm turbo. This car is still being driven through a standard H-Pattern transmission which makes for quite the wild ride. Mirjan took his Evo 8 all the way to the finals and proudly taking home 2nd place in the Jr Class with half the displacement as his competitors. Mirjan’s Evo also holds the current Evo Drag Radial Tire Record, 8.73 @ 175mph. The Evo was nicknamed “DUI Evo” after some of his wild passes. Check out the video below of Mirjan piloting this monster down the track at KOTS!
