Bowling Green, Kentucky, home to the Chevrolet Corvette, Beech Bend Raceway and the worst cell phone reception known to man. Street Car Takeover made a stop this past weekend to one of the most well known tracks in the Nashville/Kentucky area for 2 days of racing action. Unfortunately racing was cut short on Friday night due to some pretty heavy rain. Racing continued on Saturday with heads up drag racing all day long. Cars were running surprisingly good with it being one of the hottest track days we have experienced with the heat index over 110. Spectators filled the covered stands to stay cool while watching car after car race down the track. We even managed to get a few pics as Cleetus McFarland from 1320Video got behind the wheel of a Twin Turbo LS Drift car!
