Charlotte has been one of the most anticipated events of the year for Street Car Takeover. The stop in North Carolina was added for the 2016 season to try and expand into the east coast street car scene. Despite the hot and humid weather, both the dyno night at Twin Peaks and race day at ZMAX Dragway were a huge success with a great turnout. There were some gorgeous cars that came to participate in the car show, and the staging lanes were full of some of the baddest street cars.

One of the best parts about the Street Car Takeover events is the interaction with everyone. Giving the car community an event that caters to every kind of Street Car is something that is much needed everywhere. Race Day at ZMAX Dragway:
ZMAX Dragway is one of the most amazing racing facilities in the country, with its 4 lanes and massive grand stands it’s the echelon of Drag Strips. Street Car Takeover had a full day packed of Roll Racing, multiple classes of Heads-up Drag Racing and a car show all day long with some of the baddest cars on the east coast.
