Street Car Takeover invaded Kansas City last weekend for their annual season Kick-off party and needless to say they are going to have to find a bigger parking lot again for next year. In previous years, the car show was held in the parking lot of Sidepockets in Blue Springs Missouri. A few months prior the event this year they got a call from the city of Blue Springs notifying them that they could not host the party there again due to the amount of cars and spectators that flooded the area. They quickly improvised and found a parking lot big enough to hold over 2,000 cars, which was packed by time the car show even started.
Estimated attendance was around 10,000 spectators and over 2,000 cars!
