Street Car Takeover held their annual season kick-off party this past weekend at the Ameristar Casino in Kansas City, Missouri. The event location had to be moved again from the previous year due to outgrowing the location, which in this case is a good problem to have. Although the location was about double the size of last year, the parking lot filled up within the first few hours with a wide variety of cars ranging from old school muscle, imports, exotics, lowriders, trucks, and bikes. Over 4,000 cars and 10,000 spectators packed the main and surrounding lots at the Ameristar Casino, marking the SCT kick-off party as one of the largest car shows in the midwest. SCT raised over $10,000 for the Taking it to the Streets Foundation during the car show. Taking it to the Streets Foundation help first responders of natural disasters by providing them with food, water, restrooms and first aid during their long hours of assisting others in need.
